After sputtering out of the gate with a toothless Week 1 loss to the Packers 10 days ago, the Bears get back to work again Sunday afternoon with a road matchup against the Broncos. Kickoff is set for 3:25 p.m. CT on FOX.
There’s little doubt what’s the biggest factor for the Bears entering their second game of the 2019 season. Quarterback Mitch Trubisky’s development had been the biggest story all offseason, and the third-year passer did little to generate encouragement with an ugly performance in the season opener.
Trubisky may never be a world beater at the position, but there’s little doubt the Bears need more from their QB to reach their potential this year.
