Bears right guard Rashaad Coward has been ruled out for Sunday’s season finale against the Vikings, the Bears announced Saturday afternoon.
Coward suffered a knee injury against the Chiefs last week. Though veteran Ted Larsen replaced Coward in that game, rookie Alex Bars — who figures to battle Coward for the starting job in training camp next season — could start Sunday.
Coward, who was drafted as a defensive lineman, switched to offense last season and has started the last 10 games as a replacement for Kyle Long, who was put on injured reserve with a hip injury after the Raiders game in London in Week 5.
