The Bears unveiled a new alternate uniform at their convention Friday night, making official a poorly kept secret.
Their new jersey — which went on sale at Dick’s Sporting Goods for a while last weekend — is white with alternating orange and navy stripes on the shoulders and sleeves. Players will wear the Bears’ 100th season patch over the left pectoral muscle.
The Bears will pair the jerseys with navy pants. Their striped socks alternate navy and orange from the knees to the shoes.
The Bears’ helmet decal will be different, too, with three orange stripes down the middle.
