Bears trim roster to 76 with flurry of roster moves

The Bears trimmed their roster to 76 players on Sunday night, announcing a flurry of moves.

Some roster news broke earlier Sunday, such as the Bears terminating the contract of veteran cornerback Tim Jennings and placing starting safety Ryan Mundy on injured reserve, ending his season.

First-round pick Kevin White was placed on the physically unable to perform list.

Additionally, the Bears announced they terminated the contract of running back Daniel Thomas.

The team also announced it waived defensive back Malcolm Bronson, tight end Kevin Green, tackle Cameron Jefferson, wide receiver Jeremy Kelley, cornerback Al Louis-Jean, long snapper Rick Lovato, wide receiver Levi Norwood, defensive end Olsen Pierre and tight end Chris Pantale, while wide receiver John Chiles was waived/injured.
