Bears Training Camp 2018: Offense has their best day

We’re still really, really early into Chicago Bears’ training camp, but today was the offense’s best day so far.

I asked Robert Zeglinski, who is at Bourbonnais covering camp, his take on the offense’s performance and he told me, “They were fine. Certainly much more smooth, but they didn’t light it up. That’s a good step up for this group though, they need to start somewhere.”

After being handled by the defense for most of camp, today’s small bit of sustained success is a good building block for the Matt Nagy offense.

I asked Robert for some more specifics and he shared that he “thought Trubisky forced less, and was generally more patient,” and that he “used his playmakers well.
