The Bears will practice with pads on for the first time in 2020 at Halas Hall Monday, only 27 days before their season opener against the Detroit Lions. It’ll not only be our first look at the Bears as media members, but it’ll be the first time coaches really get to challenge their players.
So we, collectively, are going to learn a lot over the next few weeks. Here’s what I’ll be looking for while on the sidelines of these upcoming 15 training camp practices.
The Bears’ quarterback competition will begin in earnest on Monday. The Bears, ideally, would see both Nick Foles and Mitch Trubisky do both the big and little things well, making it difficult to pick a Week 1 starter (I think it’ll be Trubisky if that plays out).
