The Bears traded the No. 41 pick of the draft to the Bills on Friday night in a deal that saw six selections exchanged.
The Bears moved down 15 picks from 41 to 56. They got the Bills’ two second-round picks — No. 56 and 62 — and the Bills’ fourth-rounder, No. 109. The Bears also traded the No. 72 pick and their seventh-rounder to the Bills.
The move was Ryan Poles’ first trade of the draft — and his eighth draft-day trade-down in four years.
The Bears spent their first two picks in the draft on pass-catchers: tight end Colston Loveland, who was picked 10th on Thursday night, and Missouri receiver Luther Burden, who went 39th to the Bears.
