The Chicago Bears joined in on the free agency madness of Monday’s legal negotiating period, as they are expected to sign running back Mike Davis, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The terms of the contract have yet to be announced.
Davis is coming off of the best year of his four-year career, rushing for 514 yards and four touchdowns on 112 carries in a crowded Seattle Seahawks backfield, resulting in an average of 4.6 yards per carry. He also caught 34 passes for 214 yards and a touchdown, showing off some value as a receiver out of the backfield.
