Bears to Sign Defensive End Angelo Blackson to a Two-Year Contract

The Bears have added a piece to their defensive line, agreeing to contract terms with defensive lineman Angelo Blackson on a two-year deal, according to Ian Rapaport. The salary cap figures of the deal have not yet been disclosed.

Blackson, primarily a defensive end, was a day-3 pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2015, with the first pick in the fourth round. He started just 1 game for Tennessee in the 2 seasons he suited up, recording 2.5 sacks in his rookie year before a clear dropoff in playing time and statistics in his sophomore campaign.
