When Vic Fangio was officially re-hired as the Bears’ DC, many people expected the defensive staff would remain the same. To nobody’s surprise, Alex Marvez has reported that incumbent LBs coach Glenn Pires and asst. DBs coach Roy Anderson will be retained on the Bears’ staff. Coach Pires has been with the Chicago Bears since 2015, and Roy Anderson since 2017.
Prior to his arrival in Chicago, Glenn Pires had coached LBs in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, and Atlanta Falcons.
