The Bears will face top competition during the 2016 preseason, beginning with a game against the defending Super Bowl champion Broncos at Soldier Field.
Given the number of Bears players and coaches who were previously with the Broncos, introductions won’t be necessary when the teams open the preseason between Aug. 11 and 15.
The group includes coach John Fox, special teams coordinator Jeff Rodgers, offensive line coach Dave Magazu, defensive line coach Jay Rodgers, receiver Eddie Royal, cornerback Tracy Porter, linebacker Danny Trevathan, safety Omar Bolden, center/guard Manny Ramirez, defensive lineman Mitch Unrein and long-snapper Aaron Brewer.
