It looks like former Pro Bowl running back Lamar Miller will get his chance Monday.
The Bears will promote Miller from their practice squad Sunday, NFL Network reported, because starter David Montgomery is out against the Vikings with a concussion. While the Bears have Cordarrelle Patterson, Ryan Nall and Artavis Pierce ahead of Miller as full-time players on the active roster, there’d be no reason to add him if he wasn’t going to play Monday.
Miller was a star in 2018 with the Texans, and the Bears have had him on their practice squad since early October.
