Bears Sign WR Nelson Spruce To Practice Squad, Release LB Jason Thompson

The Chicago Bears signed WR Nelson Spruce to their practice squad on Monday and released LB Jason Thompson from the unit, according to Zach Zaidman.

The Bears’ practice squad now consists of:

2. DL Rashaad Coward
3. OL Cameron Lee
4. TE Ben Braunecker (Exception)
5. WR Mario Alford
6. NT Mike Purcell
7. DB Doran Grant
8. LB Carl Bradford
9. WR Darreus Rogers
10. WR Nelson Spruce

Spruce, 24, joined the Rams as an undrafted rookie out of Colorado back in May and was able to make the team’s 53-man roster.
