With one preseason game in the books the Chicago Bears have had the chance to review the film and make some necessary tweaks to their roster. They’ve decided to alter the position group that seemed to have the most issues against the Denver Broncos, the offensive line.
In are 26 year old Khaled Holmes (6’3”, 309) and 29 year old Shelley Smith (6’4”, 310) and out are Dan Buchholz and Donovan Williams.
Holmes, a center by trade, is a three year veteran that the Indianapolis Colts released in May. He appeared in 17 games with nine starts after being picked by the Colts in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of USC.
