The Bears signed tight end Stephen Carlson from their practice squad to the active roster Tuesday. He filled the spot that opened when they put running back Travis Homer on injured reserve last week.

Carlson, 27, has been in the NFL since 2019 and has six catches for 62 yards and a touchdown in seven career games.

The Bears also added former Texans tight end Teagan Quitoriano to their practice squad. Quitoriano, 24, was a fifth-round pick out of Oregon State in 2022, and the Texans waived him with an injury settlement Sept.
