The Bears added some running back depth today by signing veteran Joique Bell. Bear fans should be familiar with Bell from his time on the Detroit Lions from 2012-2015. The Bears were thin at the running back position after a hamstring injury for KaDeem Carey in week two and a sprained ankle for Jemery Langford during Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys.
Coming into Tuesday the Bears were down to just promising rookie Jordan Howard and 2nd year back Raheem Mostert, an undrafted free agent out of Purdue. Howard has just a little experience with 12 carries over his first two NFL games and Mostert has even less with zero NFL carries despite appearing in 12 games for four different teams (MIA, BAL, CLE, CHI).
