Bears Sign No. 2 Overall Pick QB Mitch Trubisky, Wrap Up Draft Class

The Chicago Bears have signed first-round QB Mitch Trubisky to a four-year rookie contract, according to James Palmer.

According to OverTheCap.com, Trubisky will receive a four-year contract worth $29,028,894 to go along with a signing bonus of $19,251,924. The contract includes a fifth-year option for the team to consider in 2020.

Trubisky, 22, was taken with the No. 2 overall pick by the Bears. It came as a surprise to many to see the Bears not only draft a quarterback in round one but also trade up to secure the top quarterback prospect.
