LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Chicago Bears signed quarterback Justin Worley and linebacker Danny Mason to the practice squad on Tuesday.
Chicago was in the market for a developmental quarterback after waiving veteran Jimmy Clausen and elevating David Fales to the active roster on Monday.
An undrafted free agent out of Tennessee, Worley (6-foot-4, 220 pounds) completed 329-of-558 pass attempts for 3,556 yards, 23 touchdowns and 21 interceptions in 24 games (17 starts) for the Vols.
Mason played for the Denver Broncos in the offseason as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M-Commerce.
