The Bears have signed linebacker Alec Ogletree, NFL Network’s Mike Garofolo reported on Wednesday. The terms of the contract have yet to be announced as of this writing.
Ogletree, who turns 30 in September, is a 9-year veteran who has 94 starts over the course of his NFL career. He is best known for his five seasons with the Rams, where he served as a starter and tallied 503 tackles in 67 games. He most notably tallied 146 tackles in 2016, being named a second-team All-Pro for his efforts.
The Rams dealt Ogletree to the Giants in 2018, with whom he spent two seasons as a starter before being released.
