The Chicago Bears have added yet another kicker to the leg derby for this summer.
Joining the fray with Redford Jones and Chris Blewitt is Elliott Fry, according to the Sun-Times’ Patrick Finley.
Fry most recently played for the Champion? Orlando Apollos of the now-defunct Alliance of American Football.
Finley reports that Fry was 14-of-14 for the Apollos, who were coached by former South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier. Fry also played collegiately at South Carolina from 2013 to 2016 and finished as the Gamecocks all-time leading scorer.
It was previously reported on Wednesday that the Bears had worked out Younghoe Kim and Nick Rose, also of the AAF but were not expected to sign either.
