The hits keep coming.
A 2015 Bears team that has been hit by the injury bug all season was dealt another blow on Saturday.
The Bears announced that they have placed defensive lineman Ego Ferguson on injured reserve with a knee injury and signed defensive lineman Bruce Gaston off the Green Bay Packers' practice squad.
Ferguson, a 2014 second-round draft pick by the Bears out of LSU, has appeared in 20 games over two seasons with Chicago. During that span he has recorded 36 tackles and two sacks.
Gaston, who starred at St. Rita High School in Chicago, appeared in two games with the Packers this season, making one tackle.
