According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Chicago Bears are bringing back safety Deon Bush on a one-year contract worth $1.4 million.
This will be the fifth year in Chicago for the former fourth-round pick out of Miami, and he’s started 6 games and appeared in 54 total during that time. While he played a career low 58 snaps on defense in 2019, he played a career high 263 snaps on special teams.
The coaches praised his development last offseason, but with Ha Ha Clinton-Dix signed and healthy all year, Bush was relegated to backup.
