Bears sign DB Boykin, WR Daniels

On their first day of training camp Wednesday, the Bears signed defensive back Brandon Boykin and receiver B.J. Daniels.

Boykin, 26, has appeared in 64 NFL games with seven starts over four seasons with the Eagles (2012-14) and Steelers (2015). He has recorded 131 tackles, eight interceptions, 37 pass breakups, two sacks, five forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Selected by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2012 draft out of Georgia, Boykin tied for second in the NFL with six interceptions in 2013. He was traded to the Steelers on Aug.
