The Bears signed linebacker Swayze Bozeman, who played for the Chiefs in Sunday’s Super Bowl, on Friday.

Bozeman played 21 snaps, all on special teams, in Sunday’s loss to the Eagles in New Orleans.

He was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Miss and spent most of his rookie season on the Chiefs practice squad. He appeared in three regular season games but totaled only seven defensive snaps. He played 57 in the kicking game during the regular season.

He played 16 special teams snaps in a Round 2 win against the Texans and then again in the AFC championship win against the Bills.
