LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace is on hunt for the 16th head coach in franchise history.
Here is the coaching candidate tracker, which we will update as news warrants.
Coaches they have requested to interview: The Bears submitted formal requests for Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo (via ESPN’s Adam Schefter), Minnesota Vikings coordinator Pat Shurmur and New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels (via ESPN’s Dan Graziano).
DeFilippo is credited with helping develop Carson Wentz into an MVP candidate, and the Bears would be hoping for similar results with Mitchell Trubisky.
