Bears seeing 'coachable' Mitch Trubisky handle the unknown well

After a practice during the Bears’ second week of OTAs, offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich said the day was a “bad build,” but “that’s to be expected.” The point: Mitch Trubisky is going to have some growing pains as he learns the offense being installed by Matt Nagy and his coaching staff.

The Bears have thrown a lot at Trubisky over the last month, and will continue to do so during this week’s veteran minicamp at Halas Hall. There’s still a lot Trubisky doesn’t know about the offense, and won’t know until he gets more experience operating it in practices and games.
