Bears safety Jaquan Brisker won’t play against the Packers on Sunday, meaning his season ended Oct. 6 when he suffered a concussion against the Panthers. He played just five games and missed the final 12.

Brisker, 25, has had three documented concussions in the first three seasons of his NFL career. It is not known definitively whether he had any at Penn State or in high school.

“There’s always the human side and the health side and we want to make sure he’s in a good place and stays healthy,” general manager Ryan Poles said in October, the last time the Bears have given an update on Brisker.
