The Chicago Bears picked up Jonathan Anderson as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He’s bounced back and forth between their practice squad a couple times since that then. In all, he’s played in 19 games as a pro, with three starts coming as a rookie. The athletic inside linebacker only played 20 snaps on defense last year, but he did participate in 37.6% of the team’s special teams snaps.
Anderson is more of a fit for the Bears’ Jack inside backer, as he’s not a thumper, and has shown to be capable in coverage.
