DETROIT — Robert Quinn, whom the Bears gave a $70 million contract is March, flew with the team to Detroit but will not play.
Star outside linebacker Khalil Mack, the only other Bears player that didn’t participate fully in Friday’s practice, will play. So will running back David Montgomery, who practiced twice in full this week after recovering from a groin injury suffered two-and-a-half weeks ago.
The Bears are expected to start veteran Barkevious Mingo, who has 10 career sacks in 110 games, in his place. Outside linebackers James Vaughters and Trevis Gipson are available.
Quinn did not practice all week because of an ankle injury.
