They also reached agreements with three of their own free agents Wednesday: Cornerback Tracy Porter on a three-year contract and running back Jacquizz Rodgers and tackle Nick Becton on one-year deals.
Porter emerged as a pleasant surprise in 2015 after signing a one-year deal with the Bears last June. Appearing in 13 games with 12 starts, he led the defense with 22 pass breakups. His best outing came in a Thanksgiving night win over the Packers when he recorded his only interception of the season and became the first player to break up four Aaron Rodgers passes in a game.
