The Chicago Bears re-signed veteran TE Zach Miller Monday in a move that was met with praise throughout the football community. Miller, who isn't expected to play this year and may never play again after suffering a horrific knee injury in Week 8 last season, will earn a minimum of $458,000 in 2018 and continue in his role as a leader in the locker room.
To make room on the roster for Miller's return, the Bears released OT Matt McCants.
McCants signed with the Bears after the team's last veteran minicamp. His tenure in Chicago lasted less than one month.
