Offensive lineman Germain Ifedi is returning to the Bears on a one-year, $5 million contract, NFL Network reported Tuesday night.
The Bears signed the former first-round pick away from the Seahawks last year and moved him from tackle to right guard to start the season, only to kick him back outside when Bobby Massie hurt his knee.
Coach Matt Nagy praised Ifedi’s move as one reason for the offensive line’s improvement over the final six weeks of the season.
