On a busy Saturday, the Chicago Bears brought back two of their unrestricted free agents, agreeing to terms on a two-year deal with defensive lineman Mitch Unrein, and a one-year contract with wide receiver/kick returner Marc Mariani.
Unrein appeared in 14 games (four starts) for the Bears last year, registering 33 tackles, one sack, two tackles-for-loss and six quarterback pressures.
He began the 2015 regular season in San Diego.
Unrein played under John Fox in Denver from 2011-14.
Meantime, Mariani played in all 16 games for the Bears last season, catching a career-high 22 passes for 300 yards.
