If there’s one thing the 2019 Chicago Bears have been consistent at it’s cutting and then re-signing tight end Bradley Sowell. It’s like clockwork each and every week. The Bears need a specific position fortified, cut Sowell and then add a guy to the 53-man roster from the practice squad at that position.
Sunday comes and goes, cut that guy and add Sowell back to the roster. It’s a brilliant manipulation of the roster by general manager Ryan Pace, one of the few things he can say he’s truly mastered during his time in Chicago.
