Both starting running backs have exited the Bears-Giants game.
Shortly after seeing his counterpart Saquon Barkley leave with an apparent right leg injury, Bears running back David Montgomery headed to the locker room as well.
Montgomery leaped through the line of scrimmage on first-and-10 and was hit by Giants defensive lineman Austin Johnson. He appeared to land on his head.
Montgomery walked off the field without help and was evaluated in the injury tent before being taken to the locker room.
If he’s out, the Bears are down to Tarik Cohen, Cordarrelle Patterson and Ryan Nall at running back.
