Running back D’Andre Swift and receiver Keenan Allen both expect to play for the Bears against the Vikings on Sunday despite fighting injuries.
Swift, who finished last week’s game after hurting his groin, practiced in full Friday after being limited Thursday and sitting out Wednesday. Allen felt some stiffness in his ankle during practice Friday but anticipates playing. Both were listed as questionable Friday.
Swift ran 14 times for 71 yards and a 39-yard touchdown on Sunday. New offensive coordinator Thomas Brown leaned on backup Roschon Johnson last week, particularly in short yardage — his 10 carries tied a career high.
