Bears running back D’Andre Swift will not practice Wednesday because of a strained groin muscle he suffered in the loss to the Packers. Coach Matt Eberflus described holding him out as giving the injury “another day to rest,” indicating there isn’t a major concern about Swift’s availability for the home game against the Vikings on Sunday.
“We’re hopeful,” Eberflus said when asked if that was the case.
Swift is the Bears’ most productive offensive player this season with 878 yards from scrimmage and five total touchdowns. He has 635 yards rushing at 4.
