Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder this month, ESPN reported. It is unclear how much time Trubisky will miss, but the team anticipated the procedure.
Trubisky dislocated his left shoulder and tore his labrum trying to break his fall on a scramble against the Vikings in Week 4. He missed two games and played the rest of the season with his shoulder in a harness.
“Just doing the exit physicals yesterday, just kind of going through it, there’s a potential he could,” general manager Ryan Pace said in the year-end press conference.
