Bears quarterback Caleb Williams bounded into the media room at Halas Hall on Tuesday with renewed enthusiasm as he began working with new coach Ben Johnson. Williams and the Bears reported Monday for the voluntary offseason program, and Williams said Johnson popped in the quarterbacks’ room Tuesday morning to quiz them on concepts he covered the day before.
“Already first day in and they’re challenging us,” Williams said with a smile. “Everybody loves a challenge in this sport.”
When asked about the Johnson’s demands of him over the next five months leading up to the season, Williams said, “We can’t wait to put in the work.
