The Bears have put guard Cody Whitehair on injured reserve just one game shy of his 100th with the franchise.
After putting him on IR on Wednesday afternoon, the Bears designated wide receiver N’Keal Harry to return from his own IR trip. Harry had high-ankle surgery after getting hurt in August.
Whitehair hurt his right knee in Sunday’s 20-12 loss to the Giants. Monday, coach Matt Eberflus said that he had a serious injury, but that he was not likely to miss the entirety of the season. Players put on IR can return after missing a minimum of four games.
