Many Bears players continued to protest racial injustice and police brutality by demonstrating during the national anthem before their home game Sunday against the Colts.
Eight players kneeled on the sideline during the anthem: linebacker Danny Trevathan, defensive end Mario Edwards, defensive tackle Akiem Hicks, defensive tackle Bilal Nichols, defensive end Brent Urban, defensive end Roy Robertson-Harris, right tackle Bobby Massie and linebacker Josh Woods.
Outside linebacker James Vaughters demonstrated by raising his fist. Tight end Jimmy Graham did that the first two games, but hasn’t since.
About 20 Bears stayed in the tunnel during the anthem, including stars Allen Robinson, Eddie Jackson and Khalil Mack.
