When the Chicago Bears officially announced that they were hiring Mike Pettine as a senior defensive assistant, they also announced two internal coaching promotions on the offensive side of the ball.
Mike Snyder, who has been with the Bears since 2018 as an offensive quality control coach, was promoted to get a slash in his title which now reads offensive quality control/assistant quarterbacks coach. Snyder has been coaching in some capacity for over a decade, with each season spent on offense.
