Not great news for the Bears coming out of the bye, as they place Eddie Jackson on the COVID-19 list. For those that don’t know, the designation is for players who either test positive, or who have had a close contact with COVID-19.
This marks the eighth player the Bears have placed on the list this season, with Cody Whitehair, Germain Ifedi, Deon Bush, Michael Joseph, Jason Spriggs, Badara Traore and Lachavious Simmons all spending time their previously.
Jackson forms part of a core of young play-makers on the Bears defense, having been voted to two Pro Bowls, and selected as First Team All-Pro over his 4 year career.
