The Bears' receivers just never seemed to get healthy this year.
After battling a foot injury for the past couple of weeks, Marquess Wilson was placed on injured reserve, ending his 2015 season. In a corresponding move, the Bears activated DB Demontre Hurst from the practice squad.
Wilson, 23, recorded 28 catches for 464 yards and a touchdown this season for the Bears. The team's 2013 seventh-round pick out of Washington State saw extended playing time this year with other receivers such as Alshon Jeffery, Kevin White and Eddie Royal missing a lot of action.
Wilson is currently second on the team in receiving yards and fourth in receptions.
