Bears place John Jenkins on Reserve/COVID-19 list

For the second consecutive day, and third time this week, the Chicago Bears are placing a player on the reserve/COVID-19 list, this time it’s nose tackle John Jenkins.

A reminder that inclusion on the list does not necessarily mean the player has tested positive for the coronavirus, it could just mean he was in contact with someone that has tested positive. Per league rules the team will not disclose which is the case.

Once out of quarantine Jenkins figures to be a bigger part of the Bears defensive line rotation now that starting nose tackle Eddie Goldman has opted out of the 2020 season.
