Bears pick Roquan Smith at No. 8

The 6-1, 236-pounder was a productive two-year starter for the Bulldogs, recording 95 tackles and five tackles-for-loss in 2016 and 124 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 11.5 tackles-for-loss in 2017.

Smith is considered athletic, physical and instinctive three-down linebacker. He was the second defensive player selected in the draft, following North Carolina State defensive end, who went fifth to the Broncos.
