The Bears haven’t done hardly anything offensively, but still lead the Rams 10-6 at halftime at Soldier Field.
Quarterback Caleb Williams completed 8 of 13 passes for 71 yards for a 76.1 passer rating in the first half, and D’Andre Swift was their leading rusher with 26 yards on six carries. The Rams have been one of the NFL’s worst defensive teams this season.
The Bears broke through for their first points with 5:42 left in the second quarter on a one-yard touchdown run by Roschon Johnson.
That possession began at the Rams’ 16-yard line after Montez Sweat’s strip-sack and a recovery by cornerback Kyler Gordon.
