Bears coach Matt Eberflus is weighing changes to his offense. Benching quarterbackM Caleb Williams is not one of them, Eberflus said Monday at Halas Hall.
“Caleb is our starter,” he said.
Williams went 16-for-30 for 120 yards and a 63.2 passer rating in Sunday’s low-point loss to the Patriots. He was sacked nine times — no Bears quarterback has been sacked more in one game, ever.
In the past three games, the Bears have averaged nine points. They’ve scored two touchdowns — both in the fourth quarter of the Commanders game that they lost on a Hail Mary.
