It’s unlikely the Bears will survive to win another game in which quarterback Caleb Williams completes less than half his passes and throws for under 100 yards, and it’ll be nearly impossible to do it Sunday against the Texans.
So as they prep for one of the most difficult games on their schedule, Williams and the Bears need to be clear-eyed about what happened as the offense sputtered in the opener against the Titans and Williams was rescued by defense and special teams in his NFL debut.
