According to a report from the Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs, the Chicago Bears have expressed interest in free agent cornerback Bashaud Breeland (5’11”, 195), who last played with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 29-year old has started 88 of the 94 games he’s appeared in during his seven year career, and he has complied 14 interceptions (2 for TD), 81 passes defended, 8 forced fumbles, 6 fumble recoveries (1 TD), and 376 tackles in that time.
He spent the 2018 season with the Green Bay Packers playing for defensive coordinator Mike Pettine, who is now the Senior defensive assistant with the Bears.
